Videos for the children - nature lovers

Take any topic - chances are you will find a clip about it.

For the nature lovers, there are plenty ranging from the octopus shark encounter, the lyre bird's extraordinary mimicking of the chain saw in the amazon forest, to the crows in Japan devising methods to crack a nut on a busy highway and "safely" picking up the cracked nut.

Double slit experiment explained

Some of the clips are instructive even for higher age including adults. Take for example - the double slit experiment. I dont recall double slit experiment being so succcintly explained in school as in the video below.

Videos for children

There isn't a "one stop video site" for children. Any parent who wants to find that illlustrative video for a concept knows the anxiety of searching or browsing for children's videos in front of them - you never know the kind of thumbnail images that show up for even searches such as "scorpions".

That still doesnt stop me for searching offline and finding them - some concepts are best explained through a video. Take for example if you want to explain doppler effect. What better way than to see an instructive video like the one below.
